Brain Nook

Brain Nook
Teaching math is no piece of cake, but teaching math with technology makes it oh so sweeter. I have been searching the net to find some great resources for the upcoming school year and I came across Brain Nook. Brain nook is a FREE math interactive resource that has learning games for school and home. With Brain Nook, teachers can customize student accounts by setting assignments, selecting games that connect with topics you are learning or need to re-teach, learn math vocabulary, and receive common core aligned performance reports for your students progress. Students will be consumed in Brain Nook and not even realize that they are learning.

I played a comparing fractions game. The task was to match equivalent fractions to win a badge to continue to the next level. The game was very appealing with aliens and other space creatures. Another bonus for this website is that a mobile app is available for free.
